Description

The composition involves a two hour time frame. The fields of red depict the angled pathways of both plane crashing into each tower. Coming from opposite sides they were recorded on video. The two towers shown in the upper left of the work stand above a stairway from which thousands fled and where hundred perished. A cross symbolically impaled appears in the central foreground. The partial façade of the north tower appears driven into the ground in the lower right corner while human debris falls to the earth and cars drive off in the distance. In the upper right hand corner from a point south in the bay are seen the clouds of smoke from the collapse of the two towers.
