Description
This work evolved during a five-step methodology process but was not identified until the end of step five. When the last stage in the composition’s development was reached, the final enhancement necessary to define and complete the work’s discovery remained elusive.
The composition was a well-balanced abstraction but it presented no compelling theme or subject from any one side. After agonizing for days, the answer suddenly seemed to emerge from nowhere. The artist angled a series of steps across the center of the work; they were smaller at the top and progressively wider at the bottom and with that, the work was done!
